What programs does Ma’ruf International College (MIC) offer?

MIC offers a wide range of Diploma, Certificate, Vocational, and Short Training Courses in fields such as Health Sciences, Business & Administration, Computer Science, Languages, Journalism, Engineering, and Monitoring & Evaluation. The college also provides bridging gap courses for pre- and post-secondary students.

When does MIC accept applications?

MIC accepts applications three times a year: January May August Application deadlines are announced through electronic and print media, and admissions close once the deadline is reached.

Are MIC programs accredited?

Yes. MIC diploma and training programs are accredited through its partnerships with recognized universities such as Sahal University and Daha International University, enabling graduates to progress to bachelor-level studies.

Where is MIC located?

The main campus of MIC is located in Galkayo, Puntland, Somalia, between Omar Samatar Secondary School and Awale Stadium. The college also has additional branches in Suuq Barwaaqo, Ba’adweyn, and Garowe.

What are the admission requirements?

For Diploma programs, applicants must have a high school certificate with a minimum grade of C. For Certificate programs, an intermediate certificate or equivalent is required. Applicants must also submit passport photos, a copy of identification, and proof of application fee payment.

Does MIC offer vocational and skills-based training?

Yes. MIC provides vocational and practical skills training in areas such as Automechanic, Solar Energy Systems, Tailoring, Graphic Design, Mobile Repairing, and more. These programs are available both online and offline to increase accessibility.
